Real Madrid are eager to acquire some of the hottest young talents in world football. Jude Bellingham is on the verge of putting pen to paper with the La Liga giants this summer, but the 18-year-old certainly won’t be the last wonderkid snapped up by Los Blancos.
Madrid have their eyes firmly fixed on gunslingers Kylian Mbappe and Alphonso Davies, and rumor has it the club wants to sign all three starlets in the upcoming transfer window.
According to a report by The Telegraph, Erling Haaland dreams of turning out for Real Madrid. The 22-year-old Norwegian striker apparently has playing for the Merengues on his bucket list, and Madrid scouts will likely be tracking the phenom closely in the years to come.
Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm since joining Manchester City last June. Madrid were also well-positioned to land the striker’s signature, but he opted to hone his craft under Pep Guardiola.
Since then, Haaland has bulged the net an eye-popping 36 times and provided 7 assists in just 33 league matches. In the Champions League, he’s scored 12 goals and 1 assist in 9 games.
Haaland is under contract with the Citizens until 2027, but a release clause kicks in in 2024 that would allow Madrid to scoop him up for €220-€240 million.

Haaland Yearns for Real Madrid Adventure
Many at the Bernabeu see Haaland as the eventual successor to Karim Benzema, though if rumors of Madrid’s interest in Mbappe prove true, the club may encounter the same misfortune as the last time they were linked to the French superstar.
All eyes will be on Haaland tonight at the Etihad when Madrid face off against Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.
For Haaland, it’s a chance to show the club he’s dreaming of representing that he’s the real deal, though at this point, the prodigy has nothing left to prove.
