Real Madrid’s Latest Academy Gem Could Light up the Bernabeu

Real Madrid’s Academy continues to churn out promising young talents, with their latest prodigy being the 18-year-old Argentine midfielder Nico Paz.

The central midfielder has rapidly risen through the youth ranks at the prestigious La Fabrica since joining the club’s academy in 2016.

This season, the teenage sensation has become integral to the Under-19 side, scoring a goal and providing three assists in the Primera Federacion.

Paz has also dazzled on the continental stage in the UEFA Youth League, netting five goals before the young Whites were knocked out in the quarterfinals by eventual champions AZ Alkmaar.

According to reports in El Debate, Paz is the most highly-rated youth player at the Bernabeu currently.

His performances have stunned several first-team stars and some at the club believe he is primed for a senior debut as Real Madrid’s La Liga title hopes fade.

With Los Blancos focusing on cup competitions, manager Carlo Ancelotti could give Paz a run of opportunities to keep his key players fresh, starting this weekend against Almeria.

The prodigious Paz has the footballing world abuzz with anticipation at the potential of the latest jewel in Real Madrid’s crown.
