Real Madrid faces Cadiz without key players Kroos and Vinicius

Real Madrid will be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat when they take on Cadiz at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on Saturday night. However, coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to make do without some key players for this fixture.

Ferland Mendy remains sidelined due to a muscle injury, while Toni Kroos and Vinicius Junior are also out of the squad this weekend.

Ancelotti revealed during his pre-match press conference that the duo have minor injuries and it would be a greater risk to include them. Although both players are expected to be fit for their next fixture against Chelsea.

Karim Benzema’s workload has also been a topic of discussion, with Ancelotti stating that they manage his minutes when he’s fatigued.

Despite this, Benzema is expected to start on the bench, with Rodrygo Goes leading the attack. Eden Hazard is set to start on the left flank, while Marco Asensio will feature on the right wing.

Real Madrid to rotate squad for Cadiz clash

The midfield unit will see some changes, with Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos replacing Kroos and Luka Modric. Meanwhile, Eduardo Camavinga is expected to come into the midfield, with Federico Valverde getting some rest.

The defensive unit is also set to see some shuffles, with David Alaba being the only player retaining his spot. Antonio Rudiger will replace Eder Militao, while Dani Carvajal and Nacho are expected to be the two full-backs. Thibaut Courtois will be in goal.

Despite missing some key players, Ancelotti remains confident that his team will be competitive and put up a strong performance against Cadiz.
