Kai Havertz Pushed to Join Real Madrid Over Arsenal by Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger wants his compatriot Kai Havertz to spurn interest from Arsenal and join him at Spanish giants Real Madrid instead.

According to reports, he is open to leaving Chelsea this summer, with Arsenal and Real Madrid battling for his signature.

However, Rudiger, who played alongside Havertz at Chelsea, is urging the 24-year-old German to move to the Bernabeu.

In an interview with AS, Rudiger said, “It would make me happy to play with Havertz again at club level. Unfortunately, I can’t say much about transfers, my opinion is secondary. They’re club decisions.”

While Rudiger’s opinion may be inconsequential, playing for Los Blancos would likely appeal more to Havertz than joining Arsenal.

Real Madrid are one of the most prestigious clubs in the world and regularly compete for major honors like La Liga and the Champions League.

They have an exciting young squad, and He would seamlessly slot into Carlo Ancelotti’s team. Although Arsenal remain a huge club with a global following, turning down Real Madrid for them would be difficult for most players.

Chelsea are open to selling Havertz for £70 million after an underwhelming debut season. He made 30 league starts for the Blues, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.

He has immense potential but has struggled for consistency and to replicate his Bayer Leverkusen form. A move to Real Madrid and link-up with international teammate Rudiger could reignite his career.

While Rudiger’s comments may irk Arsenal supporters, he speaks the truth. For an ambitious player like Havertz, Real Madrid represents a more attractive destination than Arsenal.

Whether or not Los Blancos meet Chelsea’s asking price remains to be seen, but if given the choice, Havertz would likely opt for the Spanish capital over North London.
