Ahead of tonight’s game, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced his starting XI, which includes several changes from the team that played against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week.
Real Madrid will be looking to close the gap to Barcelona at the top of the La Liga standings to ten points when they play Cadiz tonight at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.
The Merengues are currently 13 points behind the league leaders with only ten games left to play, so their chances of winning the title look slim, but they will be hoping to delay Barcelona’s triumph by stringing together a run of victories.

Nacho Fernandez and Lucas Vazquez will be the full-backs, while Antonio Rudiger will partner Eder Militao in central defence instead of David Alaba. In midfield, Dani Ceballos, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Federico Valverde will start, with Toni Kroos out injured and Luka Modric rested.
With Vinicius Jr absent, Rodrygo Goes will start on the left wing, while Marco Asensio comes in on the right. Karim Benzema will lead the line for Real Madrid against Cadiz, with Thibaut Courtois in goal.
Real Madrid will be hoping to put on a strong performance and secure a crucial win tonight. A victory would not only reduce the gap to Barcelona but also give them a much-needed confidence boost as they enter the final stretch of the season.
